Our goal with the Enterprise Maintenance Program is to provide prospects and customers in Enterprises and large organizations with the technical support and related services that they need to get the most out of their investment in Alpha Anywhere.
The Alpha Technology Solutions (ATS) Enterprise Maintenance Program is a package of services and support designed primarily for large Alpha Anywhere customers. It is provided on a contract basis. The goal with this program is to address the development, deployment, implementation and ongoing maintenance issues that are especially important to Enterprises and large organizations that have begun using Alpha Anywhere as their Rapid Application Development (RMAD) platform.
Customers who participate in this Program will be able to purchase their Alpha Anywhere subscriptions from Alpha Software Corp. (ASC) at an agreed upon price for a five (5) year period, receive Level 1 technical support from a designated ATS account manager, as well as a range of additional ATS services such as "Getting Started" programs, Level 1 technical support, training courses (which include classroom-based, online and onsite training options), one-on-one advisory services (such as mentoring) and contract development services, all for a special price. Customers will be able to take advantage of best available pricing on subscriptions for the Alpha Anywhere Developer Edition and the Application Server for their initial purchase (the “base price”). All requests for product subscriptions will be handled directly by ASC or one of their certified resellers. ATS receives no payment or commission on these sales.
After having purchased their initial subscriptions, the Customer may then purchase a ATS Enterprise Maintenance Contract for $10,000 that includes, among others, the following elements:
- Price guarantee: For five (5) years, the Customer may renew existing subscriptions or purchase additional subscriptions for the same base price that ASC charged for the initial subscriptions. ASC will provide a written guarantee to these Enterprise Maintenance Contract Customers confirming that they will be able to purchase subscriptions at the Customer’s original base price at any time during the five (5) year Contract. ASC will make available all upgrades, updates, enhancements, and bug fixes that are incorporated into current versions of Alpha Anywhere, or any re-named product that substantially replaces Alpha Anywhere, at this base price during their subscription term.
- Technical support: ATS will provide Level 1 technical support to its Enterprise Maintenance Contract Customers. ATS will assign a designated Account Manager to the Customer as the primary point of contact for technical support requests and other services. The Account Manager will coordinate the resolution of any Customer-related technical issues that arise, working closely with ASC's support and development staff.
- Other services: ATS will provide Enterprise Maintenance Contract customers with a range of additional services, "Getting Started" programs, Level 1 technical support, training courses (which include classroom-based, online and onsite training options), one-on-one advisory services (such as mentoring) and contract development services, at 25% off the prevailing list price for these services. ATS will also provide its own video-based training products and subscriptions to each of the customer's developers at no cost.
- Subscription management: ATS will work with the customer to keep track of its active subscription usage under the Enterprise Maintenance Contract, so that the customer will be able to redeploy any inactive subscriptions it may have within the five (5) year timeframe.
